God that sucks when stuff like that happens. When you have made something or saved something on the computer and than something bad happens to the computer which then unfortunately destroys whatever it was that you had that you now can't replace because it won't be the same the second time round - even if you are able to try a second time on that same thing you did. _________________

I usually carry around a paper version but it's usually only notes on the story - like what I could write or what I have wrote already but write on the paper like a very short version - kind of like listing events. I also write character profiles on paper - this is the developing thing. Their name, age, gender, appearence, traits, you know things I will need to define, describe or use in the story. Sometimes I write small drafts on paper too of sections of the story, but most of the time I just type it straight out on the computer. My handwritting starts to get messy if I continuously write with pen/pencil. Hands get tired . Plus it's easier to erase on the computer.
It's just really bad when either your computer freezes and you haven't saved your work since like the first page and now you are on the seventh one and it sounds REAL good.. So you have to restart the computer and none of it's saved and then bam! you lose all inspiration because you have to re-type it all over again but it won't be the same . _________________

Isn't that HOSTAGE a movie???? With Bruce Willis? Maybe? No?
I'm reading a horror or thriller called 'The Fog' by James Herbert (old'ish book - I think also has been adapted to the screen years ago). _________________
