Hey, I don't know if y'all already knew this, but in this movie when Mark gets tortured... he's really getting electrocuted!! My friend bought it for me for my birthday and at the end of the movie, it had this behind the scenes stuff and Mark was saying how he wanted the scene to look real. And they gave it to him. And Mark goes, "Yeah, I just didn't know it was gonna be that much of a shock." Ah!! Poor Mark... What'd he do to make a movie even better!! He's so cool!

Was he really electrocuted?!
Last year, in the Three Kings chat with David O' Russell, he claimed that for the inner-body shots (remember the air in his lungs?), they had to cut him open... ... uh... right. (!)

apple pie - it apparently is true. he had a charge put into the electric plugs that were on his chest to make it look real (i think from memory they were something to do with pshyiotherapy plugs).

apple pie--
I don't think they cut up MARK to get those close ups of the inside of a body. I did read in one of the reviews of the movie that they used a corpe's body. They were almost made to take out the scene, but the first audience liked it so much that they didn't make them take it out. People are also saying that this is a lie (the corpse part) but hey I read it on this website, so I'll take it for truth...
By the way, I'm back from my vacation!! I have a lot of catching up to do!! Can't wait. Buhbye!

hehe that whole chat was a joke! the director and Mark(if it was really mark, who knows) kept making cracks about the movie and were joking around for most of it. lol Mark wasn't cut up and they didn't use a cadaver. it was all fake (i guess prostethic??) well that's what they claim anyway!  |
