I finally saw this movie last week and it's definetly not one of my favorite Mark movies. I really don't like Jennifer Aniston, so that's why I was kind of reluctant to see this movie, but she was good in this movie.
The thing I liked about the movie was the premise; how you should never let anyone hold you back from your dreams, but at the same time be careful what you wish for because those dreams can backfire.
I just didn't think this movie was Mark's best work, but I'm sure it was a blast for him to make. |

I have to disagree this is my second favorite mark movie (three kings is first)
I just love everything about it well apart from the music
the verve pipe song at the end was more my cup of tea, Mark does outstandingly good in it don't you think, i love all the extra special efforts it makes for example mark wearing the batman masks while in the race car(his idea)
and when mark falls down the stairs etc...
i never really liked jennifer aniston until i saw this film (it's amazing the amount of people who say that) but she still acts like her character rachael from friends (which was needed thankfully in rock star)

I have to admit liking the movie or not it was very well done. I personally loved it, getting to see Mark in those cute leather pants (even if they streached out the croch so ALL of him could fit). I wasnt to fond of the long hair either but the make up still thrilled me a little. Ya see I was, back in the days, a tride and true metal head. Watching the movie, the groupies, the band starting up. Mark's rise to fame. All the fights and guidos with their women. It made me feel like I was 16 again. Really. It was kinda scary actually. So just think about that when you say you did or didnt like the movie. Please.
