Are there any plans for a sequal to Planet of the Apes? I just watched it on HBO, and am dying to know what happnes!

They left is open at the end of the film to keep you guessing if there was going to be a sequel. But I really don't think that Mark would do a sequel to POTA. I think he enjoyed doing a movie that his nephews could watch, but looked pretty bored himself whilst playing Leo. But I could be wrong.

But he HAS to make the sequel!! If he doesn't then there was no point to the first one. Obviously Tim Burton had a different idea and wanted to make an orginal version of POTA. He can't just leave us hanging like that. I have to know! lol... ok so now that I've vented out my feelings, I just want to let you know I'm not taking this out on y'all or Mark... I just had to let y'all know. Not that it will help anything. Anyone else feeling like me? Or disagree with me? I'm new so I just wanted to start as soon as possible.

Oh, and the schools are shut down today due to snow/sleet/ice!! And in Texas too! I'm so excited! So someone come and talk to me!!! I'm gonna be in the chat for a little... cya later!!

hey they might make a sequel. but i really don't know. i guess all you can do is pray. look how long it took for terminator 3 to come out after the second terminator. it could be like that. so its hmmm.

I think there will be because in the TV Guide article there was mention that there will be a sequel. If you have watched it recently on FX they explain the ending, which I was still confused but it does make sence.

They need to. Once they said they needed to space it out; well, it's been four years. I think that's enough spacing! Please, guys, make a sequel. You can't let the franchise die.
