Hi Steph
Jason Flemyng was in Rock Star.
He also was in "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking barrels"and "Snatch".
Both Jason are good actors.

He plays "Turkish " in Snatch.
My favorite charactor is "Franky Four Fingers" played by Benicio Del Toro.
And favorite line is that Brick Top's "I am sweet enough!" |

For more info about 'The Italian Job' and mini's check out this website: www.geocities.com/MotorCity/2706/italjob.htm
heres a quick extract, see what the die hard fans think:
"Very, very bad news. Paramount intend to remake "The Italian Job" using the new VW
Beetle. Michael Caine, amongst others, is reported to be outraged by the dropping of
the mini in favour of a tarted-up VW Golf. The film's protagonists will be Americans as
opposed to Londoners, and the robbery will be moved to Rome because "Most
Americans don't know where Turin is and they don't know what a mini is." Which
amounts to classic evidence of total creative bankruptcy from the studio which has just
released the umpteenth in a long line of "Star Trek" movies. Doesn't anyone there have
a single new idea?" |

more info on minis
The new (evil) MINI that's not even that small! www.mini.co.uk or www.miniusa.com
I'm trying to find a pic of the old mini so you can see how cute they are and how much better they are than the new ones!
If you're wondering why I'm so hung up on Mini's then it's because I love them and I've loved them all my life. I have a Mini now - it's pink! They are great cars and I was mortified when they were sold off and I was even more mortified when I saw what BMW did to them - made them big and fat and bulky!!!!
The Italian Job is my 2nd most favourite film of all time so you can imagine my horror when I found out they were going to remake it....with the new MINI, in LA and with Americans!! No offence - but it is just not right.

I grew up with the classic mini. They are lovely little classic cars & always will be great British icons. Was one of the classic lines "your'e only supposed to blow the b y doors off!" also?
I'm happy to give the new film a chance.I'll always be a great classic film.Nothing will ever change that fact.Time changes everything.Again it's just fun & entertainment.Lets give everything a chance.I know a lot of people don't like remakes but I don't think they ever can take anything away from the greatness of the original.Let's face it they only remake brilliant ones! |
