Did anyone else notice this...
In the beginning of the film, it says they are in Pittsburgh. They go to the Steel Dragon concert in PITTSBURGH...then Kirk Cuddy calls Chris and flies him out to LA to audition. He gets the gig, goes on the road and next thing you know, Emily says she's "leaving" and "going back to Seattle" because she doesn't like the rock star life. She says she and her roomie, Marcy (who is Rob's (Blood Pollution guitarist)girlfriend are starting a business. Seattle? Since when did Emily live in Seattle? That's all the way across the country from Pittsburgh! ???????? |

I think they are from Pittsburgh, and Emily decides to move to Seattle to begin her bussiness.
