I don't know why people got so worked up about their kiss, it was jut a sweet "thanxs-for-being-there-sort-of" kiss. People made it seem like they were getting it on hard core or sumthin.

If any of you guys didnt realize he ran to her not the opposite so I'm guessing he had something for her ya you guys might think his just saying good bye but look at it this way he lightely pecked Ari wich I thought was so sweet but he gave tongue to helena that means something right?

Yeah I was alittle thrown off by the kisses Mark/Leo gave! Hmm...I think the one he and Ari exchanged was more of a 'friends' kiss. Even tho I think they had an attraction I don't think their relationship wouldn't have gone any further then it did. But I think he definitly gave more effort into the kiss he exchanged with the human girl (sry the names have escaped me). Some tongue going on. But I only think they had a physical attraction. He clicked more with Ari and didn't seem to talk with the *human girl* much! haha sry about forgetting her charactor name and real life name!!! haha o well it will come to me eventually!

hey guys!
did any of u watch the original planet of the apes? I watched it just 2 days ago and toward the ending charlton heston goes to the ape woman "can i give u a kiss?" but he he meant it in a "thanks for everything, goodbye now for i will never see u again" kinda way not "hey baby lets go get it on behind the rocks" u know? i think its teh same with Leo cause Ari helped him ALOT through the movie!

p.s the "human girl" is Deana! in real life her name is Estella Warren.

I think that there should have been more reason for Ari to help Leo in the plot of the movie. She basically just decides to help him because he's hot. Once she has helped him escape there's no real romancing going on.

I'm sorry, I thought the kiss was repulsive. She is an ANIMAL, right? How could there be an attraction between them? I know she had the hots, but do you really think he did? He'd have an ape over the buxom human girl? I admit, him getting it on with the human girl would have been too easy, too predictable. The guy just wanted to get home, not get it on. But still...I thought the monkey kiss was icky.
