The Gotham Awards, which celebrate the New York filmaking commnunity, have added a best-film category, nominating five feature films and five documentaries. Winners for the 14th annual awards are selected by a jury of filmakers, programmers and actor live on the Independent Film Channel (9pm ET/6Pt).

Feature-film nominees are:
Before Sunset
Eternal Sunshine of the SPotless Mind
I Heart Huckabees
Primer
& Sideways.

Documentary nominations went to :
The Agronomist
Bright Leaves
Farhrenheit 9/11
Tarnation
& In the Realm of the Unreal

The Gotham Awards also will bestow its lifetime achievement on director Mike Leigh (Vera Drake)

Mark's nominated for a Satellite Award for best supporting actor in a Musical or comedy. He was last nominated for his work in Boogie Nights.
